It is no mystery that we, humans, get energized and happy by sharing our time together. And we prefer doing that with those whom we love. The reasons why we love certain people tell us who we are, what we are looking for in life and how successful we already are or want to become.
If your friends and lover have no ambition in life and live their lives by default, no doubt you are not any different from them. If you are, even though you secretly have a big ambition. And it is possible that you might be secretly blaming them but none of them are guilty of your mediocrity. The truth is that you are your own worst enemy. How do we become our own worst enemy all of a sudden? Well it is never sudden but it is very sneaky and subtle.
It begins in our family, continues at school both of which are products of our society created by culture and language which are owned and formed by the media. Our extremely possessive mother imprisons us with her love while telling us that she wants us to be successful but in reality she fears to lose us when we are successful. She makes us feel guilty when we prefer our success to her. It sounds harsh but it is true that our brothers and sisters are our competitors. They don’t want us to get ahead either. And they make us guilty when we do.
When we don’t meet standards of the schools, we are labelled as unfit, worthless, failure. In reality it is the school standards of which failed to discover what talent we have got and guide us how to cultivate is in order to accomplish something big for the benefit of all. Media creates a culture of fit and unfit, too. Those, who purchase the products they advertise, follow every line of the prescribed life which they give us through soap operas, movies, fashion shows, etc., are fit and the rest of the people are labelled as unfit.
What do they do to us? Well, they secretly and subliminally tell us that we lack something. We are guilty because we do not meet their ever increasing standards. Yes, even your mother does that. As a result we remain as who they want us to be. And they love us more when we are unsuccessful living in misery. Is that really love?
Do not let any kind of malicious love stop you from taking the road of explosive success. Do not take the prescription of the media to create your life. Do not feel guilty for doing that. Love yourself enough to follow your own path to success.
